I voted early. If anything can render the mounting political noise boring, it is voting early. But here we are. Election day 2008. McCain is looking frighteningly old and worn (maybe that is just the fear-of-Palin effect at work on my psyche, but I don't think so). Obama is looking surprisingly strong and it could be a very historic election. It depends on which America shows up at the polls. Will they hide behind the mask of history? Or will enough voters set it aside?
